It’s not Broken

First of all, Happy 2018!!!! I hope you took the time to go outside after midnight and feel the energy of the new year. If you did you should have felt a gentle, cleansing energy, full of hope. The sky was so beautiful that night too – it was very clear and bright and all I could feel was the beginning of something new and beautiful.
By the way, New Year’s Eve is my favorite holiday and I always go outside after midnight and feel the energy. The reason I love New Year’s Eve is because it’s the only holiday that the whole, entire world celebrates together in the same happy, joyful way and it makes me feel united in one Earth, one human race, one beautiful soul family…

This new year you will hear my voice – my guide informed me that it’s my turn to write. Before we would do it together or he would guide me and give me ideas, but this year he wants me to start co-creating. If you don’t know what co-creating is, I will talk about it in future posts.

do not
I want to let you know that the world is not broken…it’s just changing. Don’t despair but rejoice for the change that is coming because it will bring us to a good, loving place. Have faith and love in your heart- always. Don’t be distracted by all the noise or what is happening “over there”. Stay your course and make sure your course is not selfish or greedy -if it is, you will be very disappointed in how your life unfolds.

The world is moving towards the light and what that means is that we will be coming together as one humanity that cares deeply for each other. We will respect and honor one another – not matter our backgrounds – just as we will care for our Earth and all the life on it. Set your intention now, think about the kind of society you want to live in and then hold that thought – not matter what happens – hold that thought! Put your intention on making things better for everyone. If that feels overwhelming focus on a smaller part of the world such as your family, your friends, your community, your state. Always lend a helping hand and be kind. Get involved in causes that are for the good of all and support people that are bringing about positive change. Be positive, be loving, and stay centered in that love.

Now it’s your turn to be the light this world needs – Live Light, Spread the Light, Be the Light…

I’m sorry it’s been so long…cancer has a way of taking over your life. My husband is doing well despite it all, I’m just not in the headspace yet to blog on a regular basis…but I will be back soon!

Meanwhile I want to say that I’ve managed to stay zen and peaceful despite the craziness of our life by focusing on us, thinking positive, and keeping things fun and humorous.

I wish the same for all of you. Be at peace in your heart. Do what is right. Be as helpful as possible to others and most of all radiate and spread the love wherever you go. Peace and Happy Holidays! ~

Only Love Matters

Do not be fooled. If you are hating on any group of people and are seeking to oppress them, you are not doing God’s work. Jesus said to love everyone and not judge. That means everyone. Whether you like them or not. Whether you agree with them or not. Whether they are similar or different from you.

If you are part of a hate group, you are on the wrong side. You are not better than anyone else. You do not have genetic, moral, or mental superiority over anyone. What you do have is a sense of self-importance, and a good case of fear of what you don’t know or understand.

fearBut there is a cure for all that and the cure is love, understanding, and compassion. Love yourself so that you can love others. Understand your fears, figure out where they are coming from – are they rooted in reality? Are they the result of your upbringing? Dig deep in your mind and really examine your fears, then work to eliminate them from your life by facing them. Have compassion for yourself as you work thru your fears, it is not an easy process and it might leave you raw and broken.

Healing will come if you open your heart, face what you fear, and seek to understand the world around you. Know that you are not separate from other human beings. Know that we are all one family, not matter our backgrounds. If you do this, you will experience love like never before, not just love for yourself or others that you know, but for all of humanity, for all of the Earth – human, animal, or nature. You will feel the connection to ALL and it will feel ecstatic and incredibly peaceful. You will wake up each morning with joy in your heart and gratitude.

Love matters

The answers to get there are inside of you. All that is required is an opening – open mind, open heart, open willingness to connect to the Source and feel the love. Feel the connection and love that is available to all of us. Be still and know.

Do it, we all need you…

The eclipse gave me lemons…. but it also told me how to make lemonade. A while back I explained how the universe talks to us in the “Are you talking to me?” post, and I received my message loud and clear. Let me explain – the week before the solar eclipse on August 21st I felt very restless, a bit angry, and I kept hearing the word “fight, fight, fight.” This was very confusing to me because I’m normally a calm, positive person and I just couldn’t figure out what the universe wanted me to “fight”.

Well it all became very clear on August 24th when my husband ended up in the ER and was diagnosed with cancer. The news was unexpected and overwhelming. My husband is a very active, always smiling, full of life person who has more energy than anyone I know – certainly more energy than me! He’s hardly ever sick so this was a complete shock. In my disbelief and grief, I had to face my fear of losing him – by then he had lost over 20 pounds and didn’t even resemble himself anymore, but then I remembered the word I heard…and my grief was transformed into a battle cry – fight! My tears were replaced by anger, my grief to resolution, and my sadness into a plan of action.

When I had to tell my husband the news after his exploratory surgery, I told him to emblazon one word in his mind – fight! And that’s what we’re doing, we are fighting every day and you know what, cancer is not so scary anymore. By taking it head on, understanding it, and telling the universe our plan for it, we are stronger, we are more resolved than ever, and we are united in our fight. Our life has changed in some respects. It now revolves around doctor appointments, chemo, radiation, eating right, clean environment, and medications. What hasn’t changed is our commitment to each other, and the belief that if we fight, we will win. I have no doubt that he will beat this and be ok in the end. This is just a moment in our lives together, four months of living life differently and learning the lesson that comes along with it. So far we’ve learned that we’re surrounded by love – so many people have reached out with prayers, support, and love and we’ve humbled by it. We’ve learned that there is much caring and kindness around us – the doctors and nurses at the hospital were amazing and went above and beyond to make him comfortable and feel taken care of. We’ve made friends that are on the same journey we are and together we are learning how to deal with this new, unknow territory, while giving each other support and love.

I often wonder how I would have handled this if the universe hadn’t “talked” to me and given me the word that I needed to hear…I know that I am beyond grateful that they talk to me and I’ve learned how to listen. Because of this, I have no fear – only complete trust and faith. I am blessed to be able to talk to my guide and hear spirit talking to me but you know what? So are you….

Colors of Life

Look at the world around you, do you see all the colors? Do you see the different shapes and sizes? Can you imagine how visually boring our world would be if everything was monochrome? Or black and white?

The animal kingdom has all kinds of animals from the smallest insect to giants like whales. The live in all kinds of environments, some have fur, some have scales. Some you can pet and have in a house, and some are too wild or dangerous to be kept indoors. Each one of them is fascinating, living their life according to nature’s laws, and adding richness and texture to our world.

Same goes for the plant kingdom. Most plants have some green on them but that’s where the similarities end. Our world is populated with giant trees and prickly cactus. Flowers bloom in all sorts of glorious colors and designs. Verdant grass carpets mountains and russet leaves soften the forest floors. All of it is magnificent and stirs the soul.

Our physical world is diverse. Diversity is interesting, it is beautiful, unique, it sparks curiosity, it engages our senses, it makes you want to learn more, it makes life stimulating and thought-provoking…

Why would you think humanity would be any different?
